ALIBABA BLAST PASTOR FOR KEEPING SILENT ABOUT RAPE ALLEGATION

       Prominent Nigeria comedian and social commentator, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome aka Alibaba has weighted in on the trending issues of a rape allegation made by Busola Dakolo against the senior global pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

     
      The rape allegation have generated mixed reactions from many Nigerians as people take divided position on the issue. While some Nigerians believe that the pastor is guilty, some others are of the opinion that Busola  who is the wife of singer, Timi Dakolo has a lopsided story that does not add up.

    
     In his reaction to the story, the veteran entertainer, Alibaba has called out prominent Nigerian clerics for keeping mute on the rape allegation , “it is a bit odd that many pastors of prominent churches are mute on this topic of rape, make me wonder what’s really happening but when it is a political subject they all lend their voice, now it is a rape in the church, they are all mute".

   
    When it comes to preaching against what members of the congregation are doing wrong its in vol 1, 2 and 3. But touch, not the lord’s anointed and my prophet no harm. It is also note that back in 2009  Ese Walters, a former member of COZA also came forward to lay rape allegations against the pastor. In the wake of the new scandal, however, she has said she would like not to be dragged into it as she has played the victim role for so long and she has since moved on from that spot.

  
    On her part, Modele Fatoyinbo, the wife of the embattled pastor has come to the defense of her husband saying that her husband is not capable of raping any woman.
