    The character of a leader is seen to be of vital concern in the business world. Character provides the foundation of effective leadership.

    Character can be define as an invisible source of personal consistency and deep structures of personality that are particularly resistant to change. Habits and attitude or skills.

    Successful organisation rely on essential character. Leadership that achieves result goes beyond “how to be” and becomes “how to do”.      The content of a person’s character will significantly influence  their legacy of leadership. Research indicates that learder with character build organisations that are both imperative and supportive. Leaders with character not only touch hearts, but are essential building blocks to socially responsible organisations and ethical management decision making bprocess. Leaders who lacks character can create chaos and foster despair. To avoid such outcomes, it is essential that business leader recognise their character dimension. Their strength and weakness in order to prevent chaos and despair. Leaders with character is a powerful means of building company culture that have both moral and as well as economic imperatives.
